In my previous blogs I have mentioned how Nike have products that fit into both sportswear and the streetwear market. The Nike Tech Fleece is another example of this. Tech Fleece was originally designed for athletes has now also transitioned into casual wear and streetwear. I can say this is due to the style and mainly the comfort of the Nike Tech Fleece. I have worn my tech fleece joggers when going on runs, to play football, loungewear and when going on long journeys.
The Nike Tech Fleece is available in many different colours. However, my favourite colourways are the more simplistic ones such as, the grey and black joggers. Like many items Nike make they can be paired with many different outfits and shoes. I personally wear my tech fleece joggers with white or black Air Force 1's.
Another key aspect of the Tech Fleece is that it can be worn in any season due to the materials it's made from. The innovative fabric is made from a blend of cotton and synthetic materials. This means that the tracksuit is warm yet lightweight. Tech fleece also includes many simple designs that other competition does not. Including zip pockets on the joggers and tracksuit top mean that you can put valuable items away safely. The functionality of Tech Fleece in my opinion is what has made it so popular in sportswear and streetwear.
Although, Tech fleece does not come cheap and right now the hoodie is £110 and the joggers £90. I purchased my Tech Fleece a few years ago when it was cheaper but other consumers are not put off by these prices, with the Tech Fleece still one of Nike's most popular products. As mentioned in previous blogs Nike are incredibly good at collaborating with people to drive demand for their products. Recently Nike collaborated with one of the UK's biggest artists, Central Cee on Tech Fleece. This helps Nike to maintain the visibility of Tech Fleece to consumers like myself.
